Having always lived in the Lewes area, I have a strong connection with the people and place.
My degree in Urban Conservation and Environmental Management BSc began the foundations of the company I have built. I had a small stint in the legal world, before realising I wanted to formally train as a carpenter. I completed my training in 2009 and decided to go out alone the following year. In 2017 I started the Building and Carpentry Co. Ltd which has built up a large client base.
When I am not working, you'll find me playing cricket or taking my children to The Amex to watch the Seagull's play. I also love cycling and walking the dogs on the South Downs.

Billy joined the company in 2024 as a fully qualified and skilful bricklayer. Although his specialism is bricklaying he has quickly developed his skills in other areas and seems naturally suited to the building industry. Billy particularly enjoys carpentry and tiling and his creativity makes him excellent at hard landscaping.
Outside work Billy plays hockey to a high level (Lewes First XI keeper), and is a regular gym goer. Billy enjoys living in Lewes and appreciates what the town has to offer, particularly the local cuisine.

Jack left school in the summer of 2021 and decided to train as a carpenter, joining the company to become an Apprentice Carpenter. Jack completed his training in 2023 and gained a City & Guild qualification in Site Carpentry Level 2. He is skilled in all areas of carpentry and has particularly enjoyed second fix/finish carpentry where he has flourished.
In his spare time Jack enjoys a large friendship group and spends a lot of time working on his VW Golf. In the last few years Jack's knowledge for cars has made him a useful person to know!
